What to expect
Here is a typical event, but we are happy to customize it with you.
STEP 1: AT-HOME PREP
Athleisure is the vibe! If it works for yoga & working out, it works here. Bare feet are ideal, so you can channel your inner ninja without slipping. If you want socks, get the grippy ones. Avoid baggy stuff that might turn into a DIY parachute mid-roll. Longsleeves and pants are great too! Avoid zippers or too many buttons - you can scratch eachother and tear the mats.
STEP 2: ARRIVAL
Meet our team! We’ll make sure your waivers are signed (because, you know, safety first).
STEP 3: INTRO TO THE WORKSHOP
The calm before the storm! We’ll start with an introduction to what’s ahead. You’ll learn the basics of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), self-defense, and how we manufacture stressful experiences that can connect to personal growth. Don’t worry; this part is all about easing in. We’ll also bring you up-to-speed with our methodology and how this experience translates to your life and workplace.
STEP 4: SAFETY FIRST, ALWAYS
We take care of you. Before anything gets too intense, our expert instructors will explain how we maintain safety. Whether it’s maintaining boundaries or teaching proper techniques, you’re in safe hands while learning how to push your limits.
STEP 5: THE MAIN EVENT
Let’s dive in! Get hands-on with engaging exercises that simulate real-life challenges, mixing adrenaline-pumping activities with practical self-defense moves. You’ll practice teamwork, how to stay cool under pressure, punch & kick some heavy bags, try some hand-to-hand combat, and maybe even laugh as you try to take down your partner (gently, of course).
STEP 6: POST-EXPERIENCE REFLECTION
Time to soak it all in. After the workshop, we’ll gather for a debrief. Reflect on what you learned, how you handled stress, and how these skills apply to both your personal and professional life. We’ll help you connect the dots between the experience and real-world challenges.
STEP 7: HEADING HOME
Leave with more than just memories. After this transformative experience, you’ll walk away with new skills, stronger connections, and maybe even a story or two to share at the office. Don’t forget to grab your belongings and give yourself a pat on the back for taking on the challenge!
Don’t forget to give us a review!

I wasn’t sure what to expect—probably a lot of burpees.
Instead, I found myself laughing, learning, and connecting in ways I never thought possible.
And (thankfully) no burpees whatsoever!
